Photographer's Note
I was bored with the daylight photos, and decided to walk over there in the midnight. Double Arch. Full moon. Used two huge flashlights to lighten up the bottom side of the arch.

Beautiful and different approach to these arches, that are in themselves very beautiful. I also like the starlit sky behind ;-)

We are lucky that you was bored with the daylight photos because the result is very good . . . :-)
The colours are good and the sky is beautiful with the stars.
You can do some levels work in PS to light up the frame, I'll post a workshop.

Wowie Wow Wow!! This is really nice!! Before I read your not , I though this was a dusk or dawn shot. You've inspired me to get a tripod immediately. Great shadows you captured too. Amazing!

Exceptional night shot. The night sky, filled with stars, and the impressive rock formations are well captured and the overall atmosphere is amazing. Wonderful composition! Excellent work!

What a breath-taking night shot! I had to go get my roommate and show her this shot! The nite sky is so wonderful...so many stars in this one shot! Probably have more stars on this one shot than what I can see on a L.A. night! Like how the light shines on the arches! Well executed!

Fantastic shot. I like the idea of using the flashligts to light up the arch.
Have you tried doing any star trail shots with exposures 30mins to several hours so the stars turn into lines? I think this would be a great location.

Cette photo me rappelle de magnifiques souvenirs !
Très belle perspective.
Les étoiles mettent en valeur ces arches immenses.
Superbe !

This is someplace the other side of spectacular Eugene. I've visited Utah several times and it's taken my breath away to be so reminded of the awesome beauty of that red rock beneath a million stars. Thanks.

Nice technical shot, the stars really add to it being a nighttime shot, otherwise i would have thought day. Well done.

Hi Eugene,
Very impressive work. The sky full of stars looks very great. Your idea of flash lights was good. Good tones and well managed colors.
