A charming picture of this flying bird. Is it a sparrow? Excellent sharpness and beautiful colours. We had many sparrows but now they became rare.

Hi David, As you say, it is hard to capture birds in flight, especially small birds which flit around quickly, so you did well to capture this one. BTW - I see in your profile that you're related to Lowell Thomas. I have a first edition of "India Land of the black pagoda" and "TE Lawrence by his friends" on my bookshelf. cheers, Steve
