Photographer's Note

About 40 miles from my home there is an aviation and space museum called Evergreen near a small town - McMinnville. It is the home now of some very interesting aircraft. This photo shows the big big Spruce Goose of Howard Hughes fame and directly below is the Spirit of St. Louis, flown by Charles Lindbergh on May 20-21, 1927, on the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from Long Island, New York, to Paris, France. Hundreds of other aircraft of note housed here. Thanks for viewing drt100 David
