Photographer's Note

This is getting back to my creative abstract side of photography - which I really really miss.

When I choose to do this type of photography, I need to be in 'the zone'. It takes alot of mental energy, and I often feel quite tired and fatigued after a long photo shoot. It's much more than pointing and shooting at a scene. Its trying to get the right angles, trying several varied compositions, switching different camera lenses, its a big process. I look for repeating patterns, reflections, acute angles, upwards pov's, trying to find that viewpoint that is so unique. I often get a lot of looks by people walking by. Sometimes I will lay flat on the ground to get that special pov, sometimes I'll get up high and shoot downwards, I must look foolish to many other people, but I don't care. This is my passion. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

The reward though is fantastic, and the feeling I get is almost spiritual. When I'm in this zone, time seems to be non existent. It's really hard to explain. And again, this is why I love going to Vegas because they have so many modern buildings that you can get creative with and experiment with.

This is the Prada building, I'll post a couple more in the WS so you can get a better idea.
