Las Paris

Paris Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located a little further down the Las Vegas Strip from the Italian areas. Opened in 1999, the complex features a half-scale, 164 metre tall replica of the Eiffel Tower, the Montgolfier Balloon, an Arc de Triomphe and La Fountaine des Mers (at Place de la Concorde). The front of the hotel is a mix of the Louvre and the Opéra Garnier. The hotel has got 2,916 rooms.

Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici, lepo pokazano mesto i arhitektura, dobra perspektiva i kontrast, lepe boje, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa prolaznicima.

nice the view of this part of the town with the Paris hotel with its tower of Eiffel to be the eye catching of the scene day and especially at night.As i see hundreds of visitors strolling in the streets.

Hi Lars,

A superb upward pov on the ersatz Eiffel Tower and the Montgolfier balloons around the side complete the picture. The impassive crowds seem oblivious to scene behind them or to the side. They're focused on looking strait ahead. Tfs!

my hotel was located few meters before this corner, we had a closer view of the rooms of the paris from there.
nice angle including the tower, the building and the public in the lower part of the compo.

Hello Lars,
The photo is well composed to include the entire tower as well as a good view of the crowds in the street. The early evening light is also perfectly handled. The clarity and sharpness make this a very enjoyable photo and I can feel the pleasant warmth of the evening through my computer screen. It's almost like I wish I was there. ;-)

Een mooie samenvatting van dit Parijs in de woestijn. Zo van een afstand en in het avondlicht lijkt de Eiffeltoren net een beetje minder fake dan wanneer je er in werkelijkheid dichtbij staat.

The presence of the crowd is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the hotel and of the casino. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Un beau cadrage vertical car il le fallait bien avec a hauteur de la tour même si elle est plus petite que l'originale.Les passants semblent profiter d'une ombre rafraîchissante.

Hi Lars,
So there's Paris too. They certainly have put quite a lot of effort on copying all the details of this building. The Eiffel Tower doesn't look quite as detailed though. But that of course is not visible in the night version. I think that would be my choice for the main upload.

Hello Lars,

The people must be so accustomed to tourists taking photographs that not a single person is affected by your camera! It shows a population very focussed on their own pursuits! However, that is all to the good for your photograph for it seems very natural and very busy!
Despite all the movement, your photograph has captured the scene sharply, of the people and the buildings, all in a soft, evening light.
I also love your night shot of the Eiffel Tower.
It must be strange to move so quickly from one country to another, without even a passport!

Monuments "like" in Paris, Lars, but the attractive object on this photo are the many people stride along the colorful street.
Night scene on the WS, could be posted as main to my humble opinion, in a diff. opportunity.

A splendid image of this area of Las Vegas, where the Parisian atmosphere is reproduced, certainly this building reminds me of the Opera, the Louvre and a little to the Town Hall, the Eiffel tower sticking out above confirms the atmosphere, many people who put the touch animated.
The management of color and light, are magnificent, highlighting the beauty and sharpness of the image.
