Photographer's Note
Some of the abandoned homesteads in Montana are beautiful locations. This old home near the Missouri river is one example. In this case, close to a major highway, adjacent to magnificant scenery (see my last posting), and not too far from town; it makes me wonder why.

I find these old structures endlessly fascinating. Your photo, too, is very good. I like clear blue sky, and your composition includes just enough space around the cabin to indicate its environment, while retaining the cabin in large enough size to keep interest and detail.

Is Montana an abandoned Land? Rossella O'Hara wouldn't be happy for this! Your new photo is beautiful has the others'one. The great tree steals a little the scene, but it is superb. The ghost house appears under its protection.

This is a great series of photos you're bringing us Ned. This one reminds me of the series I use to watch - I think it was called "The Waltons" (it was about the Walton family...). I can almost imagine the happy kids running around this one.

I like this pix with the great tree and the old house. Well composed. Can't avoid thinking of the dreams that was behind the one who planted this tree a very long time ago.. Very good
