Maui Sunset, a photo from Hawaii, West

Photographer's Note

Even though the majority of the time we were in Hawaii it was raining, the last 3 days were beautiful. The good part of the rain was that there were plenty of clouds on the horizon to make the photo more interesting.

This was taken in RAW and then the colors were saturated a bit in photoshop.

Simple, but beautiful, Mark. A narrow frame, well-composed, great colors, and you've perfectly captured the top half of the dipping sun. Nicely done.

I've browsed your gallery a bit, and I have to say, you have a lot of impressive shots. This one is no exception. Although it's a bit small, I think you got the exposure right on both the sunset and the water, and the colors are gorgeous. Wonderful job.
