Photographer's Note

Kahana Bay, Oahu island, Hawaii
I took this picture with my tripod in neck-deep ocean water. Standing just a few steps of the shore, I was in the middle of a school of tiny fish; hundreds and hundreds of them. They didn't mind my presence and I didn't mind theirs.
The interesting thing about this side of the beach is that it is "covered". You can walk some 15-20 steps into the sea, until you are neck deep, and the branches of the kamani tree with it's big leafs will be still shading you gently from above. How's that... swimming in the ocean with a school of fish - under a tree.
