Photographer's Note

This is my second attempt at a panoramic. It is a stitch of about 5 photos taken as we broke out of treeline. This was taken at about 12,000 ft on Mt. Massive, just outside of Leadville, Co. You might be able to make out the tiny streets of Leadville in the center of the large post.

Mt. Massive (14,421') is just next door to Mt. Elbert (14,433'), the highest point in Colorado. The photos were taken at about 10am as we hiked up the flanks of Massive. January meant there was a lot of snow, pretty cold temperatures and not a soul to be seen the entire trip. I would highly recommend snowshoeing around the Colorado Trail to anyone.

Let me know what you think.
