Photographer's Note

The Bastille rock formation dominates the entrance to Eldorado Canyon State Park in Colorado. One of the most popular routes in the area is the Bastille Crack, which at times can have lines of climbers waiting to scale it.

The scale here is hard to get a feel for, but the rock is several hundred feet high. Since the formation doesn't get a lot of sun in the winter I was only able to capture a little bit at the top, but I rather like the silhouette effect.
