Photographer's Note

My parents let me drive their 1960 Ford Falcon to Mt. San Antonio College, work as a grocery store box boy in the evenings, and in the summer I would take a break from work and cruise to Huntington Beach to body surf. No girl friends, but then I kept busy. Being a scholar geek surfer was not attractive to Baby Boomers.

The Americans first started creating compact cars back then. This Falcon was exhibited in the Placerville Auto Show. It is in fine condition, though the rims are not stock but 'reverse chrome' popular with auto buffs.
