Photographer's Note

Driving up from Santa Cruz along Highway 1, the sun started to set near Pescadero. Right as the sun was nearing the horizon, I passed a lighthouse on a rocky outcrop, which made the perfect foreground element for a photo. I parked and walked about 50 feet to line the sun up perfectly with the lighthouse.

I tried not to blow out the hot spot, but it's the sun, so it's pretty blown out. Exposure compensation made the colors in the periphery deeply saturated, which I like. Thoughts?
