Photographer's Note

As I mentioned yesterday, part of the enjoyment of coming to the vista point above the Golden Gate Bridge is watching the wonderful collection of tourists who wish to capture a photo of this glorious scene to show the folks back home. After taking many photos of the cruise ship and the surrounding landscape, I found a strategic location, installed a telephoto lens (with apologies to the purists among us...) and took these photos of tourists taking photos.

It was a most pleasant scene and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The young woman in the dark green jacket was part of a larger group that played rotating cameras as different groupings posed with the bridge as backdrop as one camera, then another, was pressed into service. There was a great deal of pointing and shooting going on... ;-) All the while I enjoyed myself immensely. Hope you do as well. And if any of these four folks is a TE member, I encourage you to make yourself known.
