Photographer's Note

Nevada Falls is in the lower right, and the large granitic dome formation to its' left is called Liberty Cap. (Half Dome would be to its' far left, and Mt. Broderick is directly to its' left partially hidden by the trees). There was still a small amount of snow in the lower right corner which was a welcome relief along the trail as it was 87F. degrees that day. Nevada Falls is at the 6,900 ft. elevation level and is along the Panoramic Trail where the Mist Trail, and Half Dome Trail and John Muir trail joins it.
The Panoramic trail is a 3,200 ft.(975k.) descent.

Nevada fall is 594 ft. high. The hike from the valley floor to this waterfall is considered strenuous as there is a very steep, rocky stairway to the top but one is awarded magnificent views at the top. the fall flows into the Merced River. Also, Nevada means 'snowy' in Spanish.
Any comments and critiques are welcome.
