Photographer's Note

Just after leaving Yosemite National Park via Tioga Pass, there are a couple of lakes beside the road, Tioga Lake and Ellery Lake. Although I donít recall which of those this one is (please tell me if you know), I like the look of this image and present it for public enjoyment and critique.
What really surprised me, as I noted within the park boundaries, was the snow on the ground in the middle of June, particularly as the daytime temperatures were so high.
This image, taken from a moving Jeep, will hopefully look clearer that some of my previous efforts. Itís scanned from a print and manipulation includes increasing the sharpness, filtering for dust and scratches, setting the levels using the standard Ďauto levelsí setting, and slightly cropping the original image to remove a road barrier at the bottom of the picture.

Kind regards,
Tony
