Tuolumne Meadows

Located along the Tuolumne River in the eastern part of Yosemite National Park, this is the sub-alpine meadow area of Tuolumne Meadows at an altitude of just over 2,600 metres. The background features Lembert Dome, a granite dome rock formation, soaring 240 metres above the meadows, and behind it Mount Dana, located at the eastern border of Yosemite. It’s almost 4,000 metres high, making it the second highest mountain in the national park.
