Photographer's Note
Yosemite National Park is truly a beautiful place to visit and must be one of the most pictured places on earth - based on the number of cameras per hiker observed last week. We were fortunate to be there during a full moon and spent the gloaming hours snapping night shots. This picture was taken using a mono-pod/trekking pole (a must for Yosemite if you are going to hike a bit) at around 8 pm in the month of March. Even with most of the day trippers gone the valley road seemed to be pretty busy with buses and cars - too bad the car on the far left never turned off its lights which would have made this a better picture. Taken with the "night scene" mode of my Panasonic Lumix with the 16:9 aspect ratio.
