Hello all , this little beach just north of the city of Ventura has easy and public access. It is a great beach to go to for a walk and dogs are allowed.

this is a very lovely beach, the view you are presenting in this fine picture shows that it is long and wide and has a lot to offer to visitors. I like the sense of depth and the graduation of textures and colours. The movement of the sea is delightul but light and colours seem to be shifting too. There is a wonderful, timeless atmosphere. Wow! Beautiful! One thing I miss about living in the desert are sunsets on the beach. Love the colors especially the reflections on the wet sand. Well done, tfs.

Route 58 is beautiful but scary drive and not a shortcut. The road winds up Sierra Madre mountain and slow going mostly 30 MPH with some 15 MPH. Very steep drop to the valley floor is what scared me. Won't recommend the route in the winter, in fact it was closed when I came home. Visited Montana de Oro and Guadalupe Sand Dunes (see my post) among others. Had fun trip.

Wonderful reflections in the wet sand with good sharpness and superb warm sunset colors of red and orange at left. They contrast well against the pale blue sky at right. The fg rock at left adds depth and layering as well as helping to frame the bg scene. Nice motion blur of the surf. Tfs.
