Photographer's Note

Alum Rock park is a rugged county park about 15 minutes (barring traffic) from Silicon Valley. It has a rich history starting. In earlier times it was home to Native American tribes. In the 19 century it was the place all well to do people from Santa Clara county and nearby areas came to commune with nature and partake of the medicinal benefits of the natural springs. The concession stands, swiming pools the hotel are gone. Now it's just a beautiful place to spend the day. The photo I previously posted was taken from this bridge The white on the upper right corner is the mist and fog rolling in a couple of hours before sunset. More on this park at this address

Composition is good, maybe the bridge is a little too centered, but that doens't bother me too much :).
Maybe you can crop a little at bottom and right.

I like the calm, misty atmosphere

A nice moody shot you made of that wonderful old bridge. I like the way the horizon fades in light and haze. I think you captured the landscape very well - some part of the painting looks like a painting.

The bridge makes very good composition. Regarding on the nice green grass, seems that the springtime is already come in this countryside. I like a little foggy background behind the bridge.

Paysage romantique, l'endroit est magnifique. D'accord avec Jerome, le pont est peut-être un peu trop au centre mais la photo reste très belle avec cette rivière et la végétation variée.

Very romantic mood in this picture, makes me think of early 20th century tourist posters for British lake country resorts. Soft colors and a foggy, mysterious athmosphere.

This image reinforces my comment on your last shot from here that it is exactly like being in Wales uk a most relaxing place to visit and those boulders in the river give it a sense of sound of trickling water, lovely hues to the green colours, well done

The bridge makes very good composition. Very nice colours and sharpness, I think you captured the landscape very well, text it's nice. Beautiful!!!

This is almost like a Kinkade painting, with subtle lights and cheering colors. I can't imagine any different cropping or lighting or coloring. An excellent capture of a pretty place. Nice to show where nature has taken back over.

Do you remember the film "Au dela de mes rêves" with Robin Williams? It`s looking like a scene of this film!

There is a kind of odds and ends impression here, because of all these elements placed so close. It also looks like a medieval drawing. I would imagine Robin Hood arriving from the background on his horse. Sure, it's a place made for dreaming awake. Anyhow, the atmosphere is there! Well done Cristina.

This is a lovely scene, seems more like one would expect in England, or Ireland, but I was pleased to know it's somewhere closer than that! Very nice colors and composition, the bridge frames the creek nicely. The green colors are pleasing and the path to the right beckons one to take a stoll. Excellent

I like the atmosphere and lighting and the way the composition draws you into the picture. I almost see Hobbits or Orcs crossing the bridge.
