Photographer's Note

Our friends have a sailboat. We went out on the San Francisco Bay in hopes of seeing the July 4th celebration fireworks from the water to get an unobstructed view of the sky. Unfortunately, the fog was rolling in through the Golden Gate Bridge and most of the City was starting drench in fog. On the way back to the Richmond Marina, the sun was setting. The reddish/gold colored light seemed to permeate the water. The building in the silhouette I believe was the Kaiser Shipyard where ships were built during World War II.
