Shot with Fuji Velvia 50, before the kite was taken down and the approaching storm, while there was still good illumination on the other direction

Hi Morris,

I do agree that the lighting is great, and the contrast is especially evocative. I like the way you have composed this, even though the kite is quite near the centre of the image; perhaps it is its tilt that keeps it looking dynamic. It's a pitty that the resolution is so low, though, as this would look a lot better still were it clearer.

Morris, this is an inspired image. It does all a fine photograph should....tell a story both about the subject matter, and the photographer. This would make a fine image to hang in a gallery.

A very strong and coloursful compo.Only the sharpness is a bit less......perhaps the original is better, but I like the compo you made.
