Photographer's Note

This grove of Monterey Cyprus trees was planted for windbreaks by local ranchers and farmers about the time of World War I. It is situated on a bluff in the James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, on the outskirts of Moss Beach, a coastal town about 30 km south of San Francisco.
