Photographer's Note

While touring the Mojave National Preserve in Eastern California I came upon this discarded chair. It was actually pretty comfortable.

The Mojave Preserve protects a large swath of the Mojave Desert in California. The Mojave is often referred to as a high desert due to its elevation and the presence of Joshua Trees is often an indicator that you have entered it.

Some interesting places within the zone of the Mojave include parts of Death Valley National Park, parts of Joshua Tree National Park, Las Vegas, and the Antelope Valley which is known for its poppy displays in the spring.

Post processing for this image included minor crop, adjusted levels, NeatImage on sky, and usm sharpening.
