Photographer's Note

Joshua Tree is a mystical place. I have had been there many times; since I am after-all a native of Southern California.

J.T., (as the locals call it), has a very calming effect on the body, mind and soul. J.T. also goes good along with the other J.T.

Being here reminds me of U2's classic 1987 album release of, "The Joshua Tree". The albums cover and inside foto's were photographed by the talented photographer, director, cinematographer & artist, Anton Corbijn.

Here we see a part-time resident from LA's famous San Fernando Valley.

This counter-culture personality; LA movie brat from the 70's and early 80's, worked with the likes of Stephen Spielberg. From 7am till 10pm he would trip the light fantastic with a bag of green and arabica beans.

Here we see him with his preferred mode of transportation, (for the desert).

His credo was, "This planet could shake us off like a case of bad-fleas.", (I being a George Carlin fan; noticed this plageristic statemet). He continued, "So, tread lightly my friend.", right after I snapped this picture.

To that I write, at what price Hollywood?
