Photographer's Note

This is the only access point to the National Park's Hetch Hetchy Valley - walking only permitted across the dam. And numerous restrictions: no dogs, no bikes, no boats and no touching the water. This is the 'Visitor Information sign' for the National Park. Perhaps the biggest restriction is on visitors parked in the visitor parking lot, "must be gone by 5 pm". Also note the flotilla of white water company trucks waiting for those brave enough to walk onward. A bonus along the way are the propaganda signs courtesy of the San Francisco Water Company, every one explaining what a great job is going on here, plus the "pristine drinking water for the San Francisco citizens"...
