Photographer's Note

The masculine coast with it's feminine looks. Big Sur is located along Scenic Highway One along the central coast of California (150 miles south of San Francisco and 300 miles north of Los Angeles). It was historically known as "El Sur Grande," which means "The Big South." Henry Miller called Big Sur "The face of the earth as the Creator intended it to look," others have called it "The greatest meeting of land and sea."

I took the advice of a friend and increased the blue content +108%. The biggest issue with this photo is that a tripod was not used. To compensate for the lack of sharpness, the "Sharpen More" Filter was used, in addition to "Auto Colors" and "Contrast +5."
