Photographer's Note

Sunrise in Monument Valley
Maybe some of you wonder why I put the picture in the category Decesive Moment. I put it there because this photo was taken just in the moment when the rising sun found a little gap in the clouded sky, which unfortunately didn´t last too long.
We were camping (with our tent) on the campground right in front of the Monument Valley, from where we had an amazing view (but in favor no toilet and no water). We had bad luck with the sunset, actually we didn´t have any sunset at all, just a sandstorm and a dark sky instead, so we had to wait for sunrise to get some good photos. Though the weather at sunrise wasn´t as beautiful as we would have liked it to be, the sun made it through the clouds for about one minute, and so I got this photo. In the Workshop you can see a picture taken approximately ten minutes later, for who´s interested.

I´m glad for any advice, hint or proposition, that could help me to improve my photography.
