Photographer's Note

This is the last of my current series of photos of the water launched over the Horseshoe Dam's upper spillway. Rather than blur the water this time, I stopped its fall with a high shutter speed.

The sun, mist generated by the water's impact with the ground, and my position create a few small rainbows that can be seen in the larger view.

Providing scale, the small white dot near the left edge about 2/3s of the way up is my Jeep.

ISO 100, 1/640 second at f/13, 24mm focal length
Rotated, exposure increased 1 stop, and lens vinetting reduced
