Photographer's Note
Another shot from Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.
Unfortunately, I don't know what species this bird is, but they are quite fond of the Saguaro cactus, which can be up to 12 meters tall and live up to two hundred years. I was standing at the base of this cactus shooting up at the bird with 220mm of focal length in this shot.

An incredibly sharp image. Well done. Obviously hard to do, but maybe would have been nice with all the wings in the photo. Of course, we can't ask the bird to "hold it there".

wow, great shot. you are really talented. the bird's wings aren't blurry and the zoom is perfect and the colors are well done, too. almost every saguaro shot i take is either too dark from trying to make the sky a believable color or too light from trying to see the details on the actual cactus. technically speaking, this is the best picture i think i've seen on trekearth.

You captured the right moment. Best part of this photo is the bird in the blue. Nice work.
