Photographer's Note

Hopefully, you do not have a fear of colossal bugs, insects or spiders. However, if you do, you can safely return to Phoenix Zoo tomorrow. Today is the last day of the zoo's "Bugs BIG BUGS!" exhibit. For 6 months, from 30 October 2018 to 28 April 2019, 21 animatronic figurines were scattered along the zoo's "Arizona Trail," including a 15-foot-tall Emperor Scorpion that moves its pincers, and a 21-foot-long Mexican Red-Knee Tarantula that realistically raises its front legs. This praying mantis is large enough to snack on unwary visitors.
