Photographer's Note
Photographers at work in Antelope Canyon. Long exposure due to the limited light hitting the canyon. Tell me what you think.

A classic shot of the famous Antelope Canyon John...Nice composition, but the colors are not as much saturated as they should be...Blame Sensia for that...On locations like this one you should work with saturated slide films as Kodak E100 VS or Fuji Velvia. Check old editions of "Outdoor Photography" magazine to see what i mean. A big smile for the composition:-)

The rocks looks so smooth! They almost look unreal.
The shadows and the light in this picture is great. Maybe you could increase the red colours a bit ? That would give this beautiful picture even more effect, I think. But thats just me.
Fantastic shot!

Good composition. Great colors and textures. I would have liked to see a bigger photo, to the maximum allowed size.

Great shot of a very intersting place John. I love the details in the rock and the fact that you put some photographers(I think that's what they are doing...)in the photo to give us an idea of the size of the place. Nicely done.

Hi John. I must say that I had no idea of the existence of Antelope Canyon, but then again, I live on another Continent.... Your series on it remind me of some images I have seen of Bryce Canyon. Generally, I like the "abstract" images of the series, but adding an human figure to this one gives the true dimensions of this phenomenal place. I like the composition with the human figure just off-centre. Maybe a bit post-editing to the highlights and a bit of saturation enhancement in PShop could reach the same result Aegean suggests. Great shot (and the others too)

i think you could adjust the brightness/contrast a little to bring out the colors...

Very cool shot John! Love the sharpness and colors of the rocks! It's good that you've included the people for height/scale reference! How were these stones formed? Good work!

I like this a lot and the photographer adds perspective and a focal point. I think some of your other shots are even better where there is more light.
