Photographer's Note
At Heritage Farm Museum in my hometown, a local man has collected an incredible array of artifacts relating to our Appalachian history. From the Scotch-Irish fur trappers to the immigrant coal miners. This is the chapel. (The small stone structure bottom right is a well.) They hold weddings here and there is a large hall for receptions, birthday parties, etc. There are a couple of cabins also you can rent and spend a night or a week. It's an amazing museum and it's good to know someone cares enough to preserve and display a part of our Appalachian heritage.

Allô Shelly!
Magnifique prise de vue et bonne qualité d'image. Ça semble être un merveilleux endroit champêtre pour des réceptions ou encore passer une fin de semaine. Les couleurs sont bien rendues.

Nice composition and POV. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The trees create a nice backdrop for the church.

Hello Shelly,
A wonderful panoramic shot and a enticing story. That is a nice array of machinery he has collected. It sounds like a goo place to have a weekend rest.In the Appalachia have you heard of a people called the "Melungeons?" They claim among their members Mary Todd Lincoln, Elvis Presley's mother (therefore Elvis Presley himself) andd Ava Gardner. She is probably a lttle before your time, but whe was one of the most beautiful sirens of the silver screen, once married to Frank Sinatra (indeed the one woman who broke his heart like no other).
Warm regards and thanks for sharing this lovely bucolic country scene.

Hi Shelly,
Wonderfully sharp composition with exceptionally clear colors. The church rich in history is beautifully framed by the intricate well and the old steam engine garage. Very rustic historic image.

A wodden church from you, too!! What a coincidence. Good composition letting us see both the well and the steam(?) tractors in the garage. Extremly well exposed with pleasant colours and light and a great sharpness and well detailed.
