Photographer's Note

My son wanted to check out the School of Aeronautics at Liberty University, so we went to their open house. This is a Piper PA-44-180 Seminole that belongs to the university.

The Piper PA-44 Seminole is a twin-engined light aircraft. The PA-44 is a further development of the Piper Cherokee single-engined aircraft and is primarily used for multi-engined flight training. The Seminole was built between 1979 & 1982, 1989-90, and again since 1995. This airplane was manufactured in 2016 and is powered by two Lycoming O-360-A1H6 engines.
