Photographer's Note
Always wanted to get a similar shot since moving here 6 months back. However work seems to have taken significant amount of time in the past few months leaving my trigger happy fingers high and dry. So just when I visited this friend at Marriott hotel, I realize the view was worth getting my camera from home. So drove 20 miles, got the camera and I was even able to convince the security guy to open the terrace on the 31st floor, just to find that the view of Downtown Dallas is obstructed by this giant wall. Disappointed had to return to his 24th floor hotel room and this is what I could capture through the thick window glass. Few white spots could be because of certain smears on the glass and I couldn’t possibly do anything about it. Hope you like this. This one was with 10 seconds exposure.

Hello Anupam!
Great urban view!
Exposure, colors, horizontal format, chosen pov and composition truly pleased me, but I miss more sharpness!
TFS!

Howdy Anupam,
Fine night panoramic of the modern Dallas skyline, with the freeway lights leading into the scene. Millions of twinkling lights everywhere.

Hello Anupam,
This is a very pretty night view. I like how the trails of traffic curve around the side and foreground of the frame. The long exposure accentuates the colored lights of the city, and there are some interesting shapes and designs. I don't think the window affected the shot at all; it seems clear.

Hello Anupam
Despite the white smear this is a fine night view over Dallas with the light trails of the cars adding a nice and dynamic extra element.
have a great day

Hello Anupam,
Dallas has a fantastic skyline and I am glad that you were able to find this incredible view! The freeway acts as a great swooping line that draws the eye into the picture and the leads it past all the skyscrapers. You have also done very well in minimizing the effect of the dirty window.
Best wishes,
Caleb
