Photographer's Note
On a miserably hot day, we visited James Island and Folly Beach, SC. On the return trip, you drive through coastal marshlands dotted with homes, condos, communities. I loved this view, though. This house appears to have been here for quite some time. I took this from my car window and there was a house on the right I couldn't get the whole thing in, so I cloned it out. This is between James Island and Charleston.

I really like this one. I think you got all the essential elements for a landscape. Foreground, middle and background. Great exposure and nice depth of field. I like that lens you are using, is it your workhorse for all situations?

Hi Shelly,
For my taste the coldest days we have in the northeast are not as miserable as the average summer's day in Charleston. That said this is a beautiful example of a lazy shouthern tidal river with the rich green river grass and the lovely old southern home that is built to catch a heavenly breeze.
