just before the Wheat Harvest,the fields become a sea of gold.

Hi Terry, it's supposed to be one of the golden rules of composition that a single main subject should not be placed in the centre of the frame. But rules are there to be broken and I think this composition works very well indeed. The shaft of sunlight across the field adds to the compostion and the quality of the light is first class. Very well exposed too. Stephen

great shot! I like the low POV, the sky, the composition, the light and the colors. So, not much left not to like...

Great contrast of colors of the sky and the golden fields. The lone tree also made a good subject.

Well...if I'm not seeing Gordon MacCrae and Shirley Jones ride into this photo singing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning", I'll be surprised! It's one of those shots that perfectly captures the heart of the land...and you've done it here!
