This is a view inside the old slave quarters of the Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC. The Italianate structure is comprised of two stories with about 12 different rooms. The Quarters was said to house three slave families. Right now the place is undergoing an extensive renovation and will be open for visitors to see one of the last standing slave quarters in America. the room to the left is a kitchen and the stairs to the right go to the bedchamber floor.
