Chesapeake Bay Bridge Toll Queue

After our wonderful stroll through Annapolis we continued our journey to Newark and New York.
The first obstacle we had to take was the passing of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
The bridge has a one-way (eastbound) toll. The fee is only $ 4, but it took more than an hour before we could pay and pass the bridge.
Being in a traffic queue is a tedious activity, but luckily it gave me the opportunity to take a few nice photos.

The Maryland Transportation Authority contracts private companies to provide transportation across the bridge for gephyrophobiacs (nervous drivers).
