Pinkney Street

In his travelogue of our 2018 trip through Canada and the USA, Lars has posted a photo of the Pinkney Street in Annapolis with 2 flags on it. The flag of the state Maryland and of the state of Texas.
My 1st photo today has been taken from a slightly different position and shows three flags.
The 2nd photo shows one of the houses on Pinkney Street.
The third photo shows an amusing mural of the house on the corner of East Street and Fleet Street that you pass as you walk from Pinkney Street to the Maryland State House

■ Picture 1: ◄ The 3 flags ►

Two of the three flags that can be seen on the photo are special ones.
The front flag is of the USA flag with 13 stripes and 13 stars. This version was used from 1777 to 1795. (so also in the months that Annapolis was the capital of the USA.) The pattern of the stars was not prescribed at the time and there are therefore different versions of this flag.
The second flag is also special. The Maryland colony was founded by Cecilius Calvert, second baron and Lord Baltimore (1605–1675). The black and gold design on the flag is the coat of arms from the Calvert line. It can still be found in the current flag of Maryland, as can be seen on the photo of Lars. No official use has been documented for this version of the flag, the Calvert Arms / King's Colors or Calvert Arms / Grand Union, but may have been ordered in England in 1755.
The third flag is the probably strayed flag of Texas.

■ Picture 2: ◄ Black and Yellow ►

The houses in this part of the street were built around 1875. A wooden construction built on a raised stone foundation, through which a landing with a small staircase forms the entrance.
It is also remarkable that the house is painted in the yellow and black of the Calvert coat of arms.
The price of these modern renovated houses is around $ 500,000
