Some years ago I spent a week working in Holly Grove, the less than glamorous side of pre-Katrina New Orleans. There were a lot of kids and they were, hands down, the loudest children that I have ever met in my entire life, but they were precious. I love the yellow of her hand, how she holds it up by her face and the yellow is made brighter by the yellow wall in the background. There is not much left of Holly Grove now, but my sources tell me that it is coming back around slowly but surely.…

Bonjour Alyssa,
Je viens de parcourir tes photos pour la première fois et mon attention s'est arrêtée sur celle-ci que j'aime beaucoup. Le mur jaune met en valeur la petite fille. Je me demande pourquoi personne ne l'a remarquée avant.
Bonne composition et bon commentaire.
