Photographer's Note

I have about 4 or 5 of these guys living right around my house. They are beautiful birds, even though they can be loud at times... The power pole right in front of my balcony is often used by them as the dining table :) I have hundreds of shots from this vantage point. Will post some more later.

The fish he's dining on is the spotted sea trout. Never saw them eat another fish. Can't blame them I like the trout myself...:)

Hi Josh,
Great nature shot with exceptionally clear colors and excellent details and sharpness. The muted green background really brings out this handsome birds features. The male does all the fishing and feeds the female and chicks, The female pick out the nest site and he does all the work. My wife says I'll come back as a male osprey.

Ospreys... the bird of prey. A great shot getting the bird in it's beauty but also it's character as well, eating the fish I mean. I have heard and read about these birds but never seen one. Great shot. TFS.
