Castle Otttis, a photo from Florida, South

Photographer's Note

Located on Florida's east coast near St Augustine, the sky was slightly overcast bit with a little adjustment is PS2, was able to capture some of the blue sky and clouds (details at castleotttis.com).

Larry,
This "castle" is just a few miles from my home and I have never photographed it! Your composition is fine using the trees in the foreground to create a border for the shot. The lighting could be better but you did the best with what was available. The angle of the shot works well adding depth to the scene.

Hello Larry,
You certainly are able to find and photograph interesting and lesser-known structures. I had never heard of this landmark before, and I ended up doing a search on Google. It was interesting to read that it's a very modern structure, built as a recreation of an Irish castle. I like your framing with the greenery in the foreground. It is a novelty to see a "castle" in Florida.
