Hello Brian,
I like Art Deco very much and this is a fine example despite being built a little later than what you normally expect. The upwards point of view shows the elegant lines to perfection. Captured under a sympathetic ambient light with excellent colours and clarity.

Hello Brian,
Yes, I like Art Deco, too.
I suppose that helps when I watch Poirot films!
A very crisp capture of this high rise building, reaching for the sky which is amazingly blue.
I cannot help feeling that this would have even greater impact in portrait format.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)
I think in the U.K. we are all going to enjoy the sun, today!

Hi Brian
Don't know if I like the color or B&W version more, equally beautiful. If pushed, I guess the color as these blue blue blue skies are a rarity for me to see.
Its an amazing building, and one I appreciated very much when I visited the city many moons ago. I went in the art deco area, camera in hand and managed to take lots and lots of absolutely terrible photos, hahaha. To come back from Miami with no art deco was a failure to mankind I reckon. This is a beauty too, and shows why this city is so famed for this unique seafaring style.
Thanks as always
Noel

Hello Brian - For me the B&W version of this wins hands down. The tonal qualities and dark sky work very well with the upward looking composition giving drama and presence to the final result.
Have a good weekend

Brian
Difficile de choisir entre la couleur et le noir et blanc, les deux versions de cet immeuble Art Déco sont très réussies.
Amicalement
JJ
