Photographer's Note
The past two days I have shown pictures of my children playing in the surf at Melbourne Beach. Today's picture was taken towards the end of our time there, and features the reason we finally left.
To the right of the shot you see fairly blue skies, but on the left you see dark and stormy skies. A few minutes after taking this picture it was pouring down rain, and the temperature had dropped about ten degrees. Weather in Florida can change fast!
This couple seemed to have the attitude of "bring it on!" I never did see when they finally left, or if they did ... we were gone!
I cropped this shot, removed some of the noise caused by zooming (and fleeing, which we were doing when I took the picture ; ) and brightened it slightly.

I really like the sky in this image John. Very relaxing one too. especially when it was snowing a few hours ago here in Bologna..
You also chose a long frame very well suited for this type of shot. The blue and red chairs are a nice touch. Very nice .

Yay! This *is* one nice shot. If I may, I would have suggested taking it a split-second later, when the wave next to the people would have passed them - otherwise it's interfering with them, slightly spoiling the otherwise great effect.

It is a pity which the compression of the image to 23 KB, prevents a better definition of the catch of sight. I like much the composition. There is a small problem of horizontality on the level of the horizon. Despite everything, I like much this realization, John.

Jim,
I love it. The mood of the sky, the color of the water, all very well captured. Looks like a serious storm is on the way. Very well done.

I got curious about your other shots at Melbourne beach and I hadn't seen this thumbnail or maybe because at the size it didn't catch my attention. But, now, wow am I happy to have opened it. That is an amazing beach scene. The sky is remarquable, I like how the blue blends into the green of the sea. The touch of blue and red positioned just at the right place adds a sparkling touch. Without it the picture might have looked flat.
Sorry no points left for today.

Storm is coming but they don't care...
This shot follow TE's idea : be on the right place somewhere on earth and take the good shot.
