Photographer's Note
This is a scene captured along the Overseas Highway on our way from Key West back to Fort Lauderdale. I discovered the old abandoned bridge on our way south and decided to make a stop here on our way back. As I remember, it`s not far from Key West. It`s a simple capture, but I was attracted by the old abandoned brigde, and the fishing guys added a nice touch of life.

Hello Erling,
Side light coming through the old-bridge poles, created a magnificent graphic's upon. The presence of the anglers show that the place is good spot for fishing.
Fine allocation over the pic. space and good DOF.
Good evening,
Ike

Hi Erling
I don't think i've ever seen this bridge before, this is cool.
Looks pretty darn big to me!
so this is abandoned? I wonder if you can walk on it and get to the top of it. Seems like an investigation is in order :)
great shot of a bridge we havn't seen before. well spotted.
PS
We are off to Scotland/Ireland for 3 weeks, leaving June 16th!

Hello Erling, What a strange construction! Good place for an interesting picture. I would love to go by this Highway through the sea to Key West. But when I was in Fort Lauderdale, there was a hurricane Rita. I went by something similar in Cuba (not so far from Key West in fact), 60 km through the sea on highway. Interesting experience.
Nice picture with this strange bridge and the fishermen.

Hello Erling,
The fishermen in foreground have found a very nice place before the bridge
It seem a very quiet place with pleasant colours too.
Composition an presentation are very nice.
Nice done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Erling,
Great view of the impressive structure of the highway. The light is beautiful on the rusty colours of the bridge. The fishermen are well included in the foreground.

Hej Erling,
I guess there aren't many places where you can find such huge bridge abandoned. From this angle it looks like a dam. I googled a little. It's Bahia Honda Rail Bridge connecting Spanish Harbor Key and Bahia Honda Key.

Hello Erling
Not only in New York there are interesting bridges.
This one in Florida we can place in the category “remarkable bridges”
Your picture shows the detail of the bridge very well, but I also like the human aspect of the picture represented by the fishing men.
