Photographer's Note

Taken a year ago today at the Park Street Bridge connecting the downtown Fort Myers area with North Fort Myers on the other side of the Caloosahatchee River. In case you're wondering why these guys are riding on the "wrong" side of the road, the bridge is a one-way going north.

I can't help but think of Bruce Springteen every time I look at this photo.

Hello Greg,
I like this very much. The sweeping curves of the bridge and the repetitive pattern of the lampposts are very graphic against the pale colours of the sky. The two motorcyclists with their red tail lights make the picture a winner for me. A lovely sense of freedom on the road.
