Photographer's Note
A highlight of my two-week visit to Washington DC last month was to see the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
The Museum I'm told is the biggest in the world. It is actually a collection of several museums spread across Washington DC specializing in diverse themes. Although I didn't have time to see all of them, I didn't want to leave the American capital without at least seeing the Museum of Natural History. It houses a treasure trove of artifacts from all over the world, some of them priceless. You can spend your whole day wandering its halls and rooms. And entrance is free :=)
The elephant is in the museum entrance. Lighting was tricky and my cybershot didn't always perform well. This one, however, was OK.
