Photographer's Note
Built for George Washington, the Washington Memorial is this large white colored obleisk in the center of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The monument is made of marble, granite, and sandstone and was designed by Robert Mills in 1836. It was commenced on July 4, 1848 and the final stone was set on December 6, 1884. The monument is 169 meters tall and contains a total of 36,491 blocks.

Nice picture of this real Egyptian obelisk; the composition is ok but it's need a little crop down to avoid the piece of the red barrier in the foreground.
