J'aime l'ensemble de la composition avec ses couleurs douces et venant magnifier un lieu de toute beauté.
Quant à l'océan, ce n'est pas le moment d'aller prendre un bain à voir les vagues tumultueuses.

It's a superb view of the colourful city and the rather rough looking shore. This is the kind of photo that could be used for a jigsaw puzzle. It could keep someone busy for many hours.

Hello Jean,

There is a real vitality in the colours used in South America; these are not pastel shades, they are bright colours demanding to be seen!
You have composed the scene well, using the curve of the beach as a natural guide, first to the bright buildings and lastly, to the strong but dour fortress.
The photograph has a good, natural flow.

Hello Jean, a spectacular scene with the vivid colours of the buildings and the blue sea standing out from the dark fortress and the vegetation that covers the cliffs.
There is the palest of shadows from the distant mountainside.

Found a great POV above the coast and town houses with the fort on the far side, Jean.
Ocean waves keep pounding even as it looks as a bright day, impressive sight.

J'oublierais encore les hauts murs défensifs.

A beautiful view along the shoreline towards the many colourful houses, which make a great and cheerful view together. The old fortress is another excellent focal point. Very nice and pleasant light also.

Hi Jean,
Colourful style of buildings on this city is quite obvious on this panoramic shot. The fortress is an interesting subject too. Waves seem to hit hard on this beach. Looking at the water I think you have increased saturation quite a bit.

Hello Jean, Very original view of these colourful boxes. Very interesting composition. Impressive view of the fortress. Interesting cemetery on the right side. In the large format, there are many details. Nice small beach. Fantastic view of the waves. You went there at the last moment. You do not need to look in your archive.

Jean, the sea was rough that day therefore there was a lot of foam created by the waves. The colorful houses stand out and form a beautiful patchwork. The imposant fortress was built on the coastline for defensive purpose. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

An ideal view of this part of the coast in the city, with those colorful houses, which descend the hill to the beach, the silhouette of the fort looks powerful at the end of the panorama, the sea is beautiful with that wave.

interesting as the poorest people created a village in the opened spaces between the two aisles of the fort. nice idea to put colors in the houses making them more special in the landscape.

its easy to see why so many TE members have been liking this photo, I do as well. Just as pretty as the colorful homes, the white water crests are what attracted me to the shot initially. its well composed and its just a great overall visual. Nicely done. cheers
