Photographer's Note
A view looking back on El Morro. Being an island on the sea, it was always a target for attacks, thus it has two major defence fortifications. A place of residence for pirates or victims of piracy, the island has also become known for the swashbuckler's favorite drink, rum.

A good shooting angle to look at this unique structure, where the textures and the color hues in the fortification wealls are very interesting. Good colorful capture, Dan. The overall result of the scanned negative looks good, perhaps for the slightly grainy appearance of the sky, you might give it a try running this one thru NeatImage.
